This Privacy Notice describes how LLCCODEX ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you visit our website or purchase our digital guide. LLCCODEX acts as the data controller for the personal data processed through this website.

  • Account credentials for accessing the purchased guide.
  • Order and purchase information (product, amount, order ID) — processed by our payment provider Paddle.
  • Support messages you send to us.
  • Usage and telemetry data (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, device and browser info, IP address).

2. Purposes and legal bases

  • Providing the guide and access credentials — performance of contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Order processing, invoicing, tax compliance — legal obligation and contract (Art. 6(1)(b),(c)).
  • Customer support — legitimate interest and contract (Art. 6(1)(b),(f)).
  • Security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

3. Data sharing

We share personal data with the following categories of recipients:

  • Paddle.com Market Ltd. — our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, handles subscription and order management, calculates and remits sales tax/VAT, issues invoices, and provides customer service for billing questions. See Paddle's Privacy Notice.
  • Hosting, database, email delivery, and analytics providers acting as processors on our behalf.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities and regulators where required by law.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers are located outside the EEA/UK (including the United States). Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Order and invoicing records are retained for the periods required by tax and commercial law (typically up to 10 years). Account and support data are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month.
